Photographer & founder of Austin Studios


Phillip opened Austin Studios in November of 1989, after a long pool side conversation with friends and some serious soul searching Austin Studios was "born". Six short months later the studio moved from his home to the Fox Run Mall...fast forward 18 years and 2 locations later the studio finally has its own fantastic home in Durham N.H. As a big believer in the work hard, play hard theory, its not uncommon to see Phil mixing work and pleasure. Phil is a long time Parrothead (Jimmy Buffet Fan) and enjoys time at, in or on the water. In the warmer months (April thru October), Phil is regularly spotted in shorts, aloha shirts and Teva sandals "having fun & thinking of island time - I may not get to visit Margaritaville often, but I'm almost always dressed for the occasion ... We work hard at what we do and (thank god) the artistic environment allows us to have some fun too!"
